Role Overview
We are seeking an experienced Software Package Developer to design, build, and maintain silent installation packages for Windows applications. This role sits at the intersection of Windows client engineering, software packaging, and DevOps — the ideal candidate will have deep hands-on expertise in PowerShell-based automation, CI/CD pipeline management, and artifact/package repository governance. You will work closely with tool owners, testers, and engineering teams to ensure packages are secure, compliant, and reliably deployed across the enterprise.
Key Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain silent installation packages for Windows applications using PowerShell
- Create and automate software packaging processes end-to-end
- Perform automated testing of packages in Quality environments
- Monitor, troubleshoot, and maintain CI/CD package build pipelines (GitHub Actions/Jenkins)
- Manage NuGet feeds and software packages within JFrog Artifactory
- Handle package versioning and artifact repository management
- Provide operational support for deployment and installer issues, including runtime troubleshooting
- Perform peer code reviews to ensure compliance with Bosch quality and security standards
- Participate in software procurement reviews and governance activities related to automation policies
- Collaborate cross-functionally with tool owners, QA/testers, and engineering teams

Required Skills & Qualifications
- 5–10 years of relevant experience in software packaging and Windows automation
- Advanced proficiency in PowerShell scripting for silent installation and deployment automation
- Hands-on experience with Git/GitHub version control workflows
- Experience building and maintaining CI/CD pipelines using GitHub Actions and/or Jenkins
- Strong working knowledge of JFrog Artifactory and NuGet feed management
- Familiarity with MSI/EXE/MSP packaging tools and Windows installer technologies
- Experience performing code reviews against quality and security compliance standards
- Understanding of software governance and procurement/automation policy processes
