Python Developer

Role Description: As a Python GCP Developer, candidate will be responsible for designing, developing, deploying, and maintaining cloud-based solutions on the Google Cloud platform. Candidate will work closely with existing software engineering  and DevOps teams to build scalable, reliable, and efficient applications that leverage the power of cloud computing. Specific Skills:    • Proficient with Python api and application development • Good at OOPs, exception handling, data structure for python. • Must have worked on one of the framework: Flask, Fast API, Django, Falcon, Qaurt for Python Microservice development • Strong in NO SQL DB preferably Mongo DB • Prior experience of migrating Python AWS Lambda based application from AWS to GCP • Prior experience of Python version upgrade for Python based applications • Must have experience in GCP Services like:- o GKE, App Engine, pub-sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging, Cloud Monitoring • Good to have experience in Docker / Containerization Responsibility –   • Upgrading python version of existing codebase. • Migration of existing serverless components to Monoliths or Microservices • Demonstrate good coding skills building high-performance APIs using GCP services and Python. • Good understanding and able to do Splunk handling. • Design and implement highly scalable, interactive web applications with high usability • Collaborate with product teams to iterate ideas on data monetization products/services and define feasibility • Rapidly iterate on product ideas, build prototypes, and participate in proof of concepts • Collaborate with internal and external teams in trouble shooting functional and performance issues • Work with DevOps Engineers to integrate any new code into existing CI/CD pipelines Good to have: AWS service experience – SQS, SNS, Lambda, S3, DynamoDB
